FCE exam 23.11.15 & 25.11.15

Hello, everyone.
This is to remind you that on Monday and Wednesday next week, 23.11.15. & 25.11.15, we'll be doing an FCE exam.

On Monday, the exam covers the Reading and Use of English (grammar and vocabulary) sections, while on Wednesday we'll do the Listening and Writing sections. The writing is an essay, so remember what we've studied regarding structure and connecting ideas.

The exam has two objectives: firstly, to introduce you to the FCE format, and secondly to identify students who could be in Stage 2. This doesn't often happen, but if it does, the CSIM tries to find a place for them at Stage 2 level, and at a time that suits them, though this cannot be guaranteed.

See you on Monday.
Tom.

See you there.

TV series in English with subtitles in English!

Hello, everyone.
Here's a useful and enjoyable link from our classmate, Carolina.
You can watch an enormous variety of TV series, for free for 40 minutes, or perhaps longer, though you'd need to ask Carolina about that.
I've already started!
Thanks a lot, Caroline.
