U5.2 Past tense review story.

Hello, everyone.
We have been reviewing the wonderful world of past tenses in class, and I would like you to practice a little more before we move on, so here you have a link to an incomplete story that you, of course, are going to complete.
Please see your coursebook, page 190 (5.2) for more support, and bring the completed version to class after the break.
Have a lovely Christmas.
Tom.

Progress test February: 10th and 15th.

Hello, everybody.

It was too good to be true! Everyone except us was doing progress tests, but we've now got confirmed dates for ours in February: the 10th and 15th.

The exam will be based on FCE-type activities and on the material we've covered in class. Attendance is compulsory, since this progress test is worth 30% of your final grade, which is why we want you to know the dates well in advance.

See you tomorrow.

Tom.

U5.1 Strong adjectives, and adverbs of degree. Gap & game.

Hello, everyone.
Here's what we did in class on strong adjectives, and adverbs of degree. For more information, (or clearer images), follow the links to the Busyteacher website.
Remember, you can also practice the conversations on your own. Talking to yourself doesn't always mean you're crazy.
See you in class.
Tom.
